Betty Leona Perry, 71, of Harrisonburg, passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018, surrounded by her family.
She was born April 17, 1946, in Brownwood, Texas, and was the daughter of Bertha Reeder Foley of Harrisonburg and the late Arnold Foley.

Betty was a selfless caregiver to all who knew her, including her family, church and community. She loved all and was loved by all who came in contact with her warm and calming presence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Westside Baptist Church.

She was born April 17, 1946, in Brownwood, Texas, and was the daughter of Bertha Reeder Foley of Harrisonburg and the late Arnold Foley.

Betty was a selfless caregiver to all who knew her, including her family, church and community. She loved all and was loved by all who came in contact with her warm and calming presence. She was a homemaker and a member of the Westside Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two sons, Roy Perry and wife, Sue, of Rawley Springs and Arnold Perry and wife, Wendy, of Mount Solon; two daughters, Claudia Acord and husband, Mark, of Brandywine, W. Va., and Bertha Webb and husband, Michael, of Churchville; grandchildren, Steven, Alie, Andy, Allison, Misty, Kimberly, Austin, Ivy and Haley; six great- grandchildren; a brother, Roy Foley of Harrisonburg; and her former husband, Claude Perry of Brandywine, W. Va.

She was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Foley; a brother, Paul Foley; and two sisters, Linda Perry and Zadah Lafferty.

The family will receive friends 5 to 8 p. m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg. A funeral service will be held at the chapel of the funeral home 2 p. m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2018. Burial will be in Woodbine Cemetery.

Our "Mee-Mee" was so very special and will forever be in our hearts.
